Full Bronze Training is composed of four four-month quarters with each quarter covering a different style of the American Bronze DVIDA Syllabus. Classes meet twice a week for two hours and are currently held at the Fort Wayne School of Dance in Fort Wayne, Indiana. These classes are designed to prepare trainees for the professional certification examination. These classes also have the added benefit of helping trainees to dance and teach at a high level. Class revolves around learning the figures and applying the associated Theory to every movement made. It is a unique experience that is sure to take your dancing to the next level. No dance experience necessary to participate.
Intensive Training takes the form of week-long and one-day classes that focus on a specific style (e.g. Smooth, Rhythm, Nightclub, etc.) or on a specific dance (e.g. Foxtrot, Quickstep, Bolero, etc.). Classes revolve around learning the figures and applying the associated Theory to every movement made. These classes, like the Full Bronze Training, are designed to prepare trainees for the professional certification exam. Occasionally, we run a one-day intensive that focuses solely on the figures rather than delving into the Theory. These classes are shorter, and cost less, than regular intensives. No dance experience necessary to participate.
