Full Bronze Training

Full Bronze Training
is composed of four four-month quarters with each quarter covering a different style of the American Bronze DVIDA Syllabus.  Classes meet twice a week for two hours and are currently held at the Fort Wayne School of Dance in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  These classes are designed to prepare trainees for the professional certification examination.  These classes also have the added benefit of helping trainees to dance and teach at a high level.  Class revolves around learning the figures, applying the associated Theory, Methdological, and Practical information to every movement made, and presenting that information orally.  It is a unique experience that is sure to take your dancing to the next level.  No dance experience necessary to participate.



Intensive Training

Intensive Training takes the form of week-long and one-day classes that focus on a specific style (e.g. Smooth, Rhythm, Nightclub, etc.) or on a specific dance (e.g. Foxtrot, Quickstep, Bolero, etc.).  Classes revolve around learning the Theoretical, Methodological, and Practical information necessary to prepare for professional certification and the National Licensing Exam.  No dance experience necessary to participate.



Private Instruction & Consulting

Private Consulting is available upon request.  Perfect your dancing, refine your presentation, prepare for a license exam...focus on what YOU need to improve.  We consider aspects such as Partnership, Appearance, Expression, Musicality, and especially Technique of paramount importance.  Learn to move well with a private consultation.




Emcee & Adjudication

James & Rebekah Steury are certified to adjudicate American Bronze Smooth and Rhythm and were honorary adjudicators for the Special Olympics competition at the first annual USA Dance Fort Wayne Dancesport Championship.
