Week-Long Intensives
We do not currently have a week-long intensive scheduled.
These one-week intensives are designed to expose participants to Figures 1-7 and the applicable Theory for either the Bronze Smooth, Rhythm, or Nightclub dances. It is a unique training experience that will challenge even the most experienced dancer. These classes serve to begin or further participants training with an aim toward certification. We cover a great deal of material at a fairly rapid pace so a cursory knowledge of ballroom dancing is recommended but not necessary.
Tuition for the week is $1360. We offer a $40 discount if tuition is payed with cash or check. Tuition covers seven hours of training (9-12 & 1-5) Monday through Friday as well as lunch each day.
The DVIDA Bronze American manual for the applicable style is required for the class. Manuals can be purchased at www.dancevision.com.
Saturday One-Dance Teacher Training Intensives

Can't make the twice-weekly Bronze Training or the one week Junior Associate Intensives? Try a Saturday One-Dance Intensive! Each class will introduce participants to Figures 1-7 (Bronze I & II - Junior Associate) and the applicable Theory for the dance indicated. These classes serve to begin a participants training with an aim toward certification.
Tuition for the One-Dance Intensive is $315. We offer a $15 discount if tuition is payed with cash or check. Tuition covers seven hours of instruction (9-12 & 1-5) and lunch during the break.
The associated DVIDA manual (American Bronze Smooth, Rhythm, International Standard, or Latin) is required for participation in the class. You may obtain manuals at the DVIDA website (www.dancevision.com).
As with all our classes, no previous ballroom dance experience is necessary. Classes open to all interested individuals. Even with no desire to teach, you can still learn a great deal about your own dancing from these intensives.
Saturday "Just Dance" Intensives
December 6 - Viennese Waltz
January 10, 2009 - Bolero
These Intensives will focus on the first seven figures of the associated DVIDA Syllabus. It will include a brief introduction to the more essential elements of Theory, but will not go as far into detail as our normal intensives. This class is designed simply to get participants dancing the figures around the room. As a result, these intenisves run from 10am to 3pm and cost $80/person.
