Master Instructor - James Steury
James began teaching ballroom in 2000 after training at the prestigious Renaissance Ballroom. James and wife Rebekah owned and operated Stardust Ballroom in Antwerp, Ohio and the West Side Dance Center in Defiance, Ohio. James is a nationally licensed professional dance instructor certified to train both amateurs and professionals in the art and science of ballroom dance. James is also an NDCA registered Adjudicator and has Emceed the Fort Wayne Dancesport Championships.
James has trained with, among others, Diane Jarmolow - the creator of this training process and writer of the DVIDA manuals - at her home in Oakland and was the first to become involved with the expansion of the training program from its origins in San Francisco.
James currently holds an Associate ranking (Full Bronze) with High Honors in both American Smooth and Rhythm. This means he has excelled in the rigorous examination process through ProDVIDA, an NDCA (National Dance Council of America) recognized certification organization. This testing process examined his ability to dance both Leader's and Follower's roles as well as his knowledge of the associated Thoery and teaching Methodology.
Recently, James emceed the first annual USA Dance Fort Wayne Dancesport Championship in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The competition was the first in the nation, if not the world, to include a Special Olympics competition.
Master Instructor - Rebekah Steury

Rebekah is a nationally licensed professional dance isntructor certified to train both amaterus and professionals in the art and science of ballroom dance. Rebekah is also an NDCA registered Adjudicator.
